Lookwell, and her “VISION BEHIND THE LOOK”

Lookwell has been involved in racing ever since the founding of the company in 1974, sponsoring racing legends like Mike Hailwood, Phil Read, Wil Hartog and up to date several contemporary well reputed racers.

Our priority is safety.
That’s why we use the feedback from our racers to develop and improve our products.

Lookwell incorporates the latest innovations into their designs and uses the best materials and techniques available.

We make sure that the consumer benefits of these innovations when riding with Lookwell products.

Some examples of the safety measures that we take are CE certified protectors, concealed, double or multiple stitched, seams reflective and other high-tech materials. Besides these solutions, we also use A-grade cowhide, high quality fabrics, Kevlar and premium nylon.
To improve functionality we incorporate materials like thermo-liners and breathable waterproof membranes.

Insuring a dry and comfortable ride.

All these measures result in a high level of safety, comfort and durability, enabling the rider to enjoy and concentrate on riding.

We were selected on these features by several departments of the Dutch National police. Making us their supplier of their motorcycle garments.

Sjaak Lucassen:
On his first trip he “lived” in his Lookwell gear for 247.000 Km. keeping him safe and comfortable from pole to Sahara crossing 42 countries.

His second trip was again a “Lookwell quest”, this time he did about 260.000 Km with 1 set of Lookwell leathers (!) under the most challenging conditions and in rather awkward situations, to say the least.

Most likely the best testimony of super durability is the gear we supplied to Sjaak Lucassen.
